So a few updates to keep you updated:
1) I still hate my job.
2) I found out I am getting paid a full dollar an hour less than I was told in my interview. This does not make me a happy camper. When I told my boss who interviewed me, he said "This is silly that this is just coming up now. There is no mistake on my end."
3) Did I mention I hate my job?
4) I have moved into a new official position. I still handle just about everything else I've ever been in charge of, with the exception of one thing. And STILL I don't get paid what I was at least told in my interview. He actually had the gall to tell me that if he hired me for the position I have now, he would pay me 2 dollars less than my original offer. So I'm actually coming out ahead.
5) I am exploring my options. I have absolutely no loyalty to them.
6) In other news, Jason just joined Beta Upsilon Chi, a Christian fraternity here at UF and has already made a bunch of friends with really sweet guys.
7) I am really excited for our Spring line-up in Choir. We are doing a bunch of really varied songs, from high church hymns to black gospel to contemporary praise and worship. Wednesdays are pretty much the highlight of my week.
8) The other thing that happens on Wednesdays to make them even better is the James: Mercy Triumphs bible study I am doing at church. It happens right before choir, so the two back to back is a great way to end the mid-week hump.
